Welcome to the 2025 Highway Wrestling Season!

Below are answers to some of the most common questions from wrestlers and families.

Whether you’re new to Highway or a returning athlete, we’re here to help.

Question: Does the Highway Season Enrollment cover everything (practices and summer camps)? Answer: Almost! The Season Enrollment includes all regular practices during spring, summer, fall, and winter sessions. Note: Camp registration is separate and not included in the season enrollment.

Question: Practices for the session have already started, can my wrestler still enroll? Answer: Yes! We welcome wrestlers to join at any time. It's never too late to jump in and start improving!

Question: What days of the week and times are practices typically held? Answer: Sunday Evenings K–6th Grade: 6:00–7:00 PM 7th–12th Grade: 7:00–8:30 PM

Question: Do wrestlers have to attend every practice? Answer: Nope! We know families have busy schedules, vacations, and other commitments. Wrestlers should attend as often as they can, but practices are not mandatory.

Question: Where is the Highway Wrestling facility and practice located? Answer: Address: 9492 Baptist Church Rd, Princeton, MN 55371 Our space is generously donated by Thompson Construction. The Highway facility is located in the white building at the back of the property. Please use the concrete driveway on the south end to access the parking lot.

Question: How do I know Highway will be a good fit for my wrestler(s)? Answer: Highway is designed for all wrestlers, including: beginners and experienced athletes, kindergarten through 12th grade, struggling wrestlers or highly competitive ones, small or large wrestlers, athletes who want to have fun, get better, or win big. We focus on the basics, done right, and support every wrestler in reaching their personal goals whether that’s building confidence, breaking into the varsity lineup, or chasing state/national titles.

Question: Why are there different seasonal options for Highway Wrestling Enrollment? Answer: We plan our training around a wrestler’s developmental needs. Each season is designed to focus on different skills and growth stages, using USA Wrestling’s best practices for on and off-season development.

Question: Can wrestlers attend Summer Camps without being Highway members? Answer: Yes! Highway Camp is open to all wrestlers and teams. Please note: Priority is given to Highway Members since camp spots are limited and do sometimes sell out.

Question: Are female wrestlers welcome to enroll in Highway Wrestling? Answer: Absolutely! Girls K–12 are welcome at Highway. We have a growing community of female wrestlers who saw success this past season at both MNUSA State and MSHSL Girls State. Join the movement!

Question: What gear does my wrestler need for Highway Wrestling practice? Answer: Always bring: Wrestling shoes, Athletic workout clothes, and a Water bottle. Optional but recommended: Headgear and knee pads. Highway gear (shirts, sweatshirts, singlets, shorts, backpacks) is available for purchase in the office (cash or Venmo is accepted)!

Question: Does Highway Wrestling offer membership/ enrollment discounts to families or clubs? Answer: Yes! Please talk to a coach or reach out via email to ask about sibling discounts or multi-wrestler pricing.
